213. Gold does not disappear unless fake gold appears in the world, and when it does, the real gold disappears. Likewise, the true Dhamma does not disappear unless a fake Dhamma appears in the world, so that when it does the true Dhamma disappears. The elements of earth, water, fire or air cannot make the true Dhamma to disappear. But stupid people right here can cause the true Dhamma to disappear. It will not disappear all at once the way a ship sinks.
