129. For attaining the highest knowledge and conduct, reputation based on status, family or such conceited talk as: ‘You are worthy of me!’ or ‘You are not worthy of me!’ means nothing. Such notions are suitable only when giving or taking in marriage. Those who are entranced by reputation based on stature, family or such conceited talk as: ‘You are worthy of me!’ or ‘You are not worthy of me!’ are far from attaining the highest knowledge and conduct. It is by abandoning such notions that one attains the highest knowledge and conduct.
